Objective of the contract: Training of Research Personnel through the completion of a PhD thesis on a topic related to the research project referenced below.

The hired researcher will be trained in the Cleanroom fabrication of Graphene heterostructures and other 2D materials.

They will participate in and be responsible for the design of the devices and their fabrication via Electron Beam Lithography (EBL), in alignment with the project objectives.

Additionally, the researcher will be responsible for their characterisation through low-temperature magnetotransport measurements and any other techniques required during the development of the project.

Participation in international doctoral schools will be encouraged, as well as access to international laboratories such as the EMFL and research stays with collaborative groups.

Research project title: FROM ELECTRON HYDRODYNAMICS TO SUPERCONDUCTIVITY: EXPERIMENTAL STUDY OF QUANTUM FLOW IN BROKEN-SYMMETRY MATERIALS

The Fellowship will have a maximum duration of four years.
