Overview

In this Data Scientist role, you will translate business needs into data-driven solutions and collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance production ML initiatives. You will explore state-of-the-art approaches, build robust models, and deploy solutions that create measurable business impact. The position fits within Lidl’s global digital hub, contributing to omnichannel and AI-enabled decision-making. You will work on diverse, real-world problems and share insights to drive strategy.

Responsabilidades

• Gather requirements and translate them into actionable data science projects
• Explore and propose state-of-the-art technologies, methodologies, and models
• Develop and deploy production-ready data-driven solutions with the team
• Design, develop, and deploy robust solutions into production
• Translate business needs into actionable data science solutions
• Apply state-of-the-art machine learning and deep learning approaches
• Communicate results clearly and identify new opportunities to create business impact through data

Requisitos principales

• - >5 years of professional experience in Data Science or related field
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Deep Learning models
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field (Physics, CS, Math)
• Experience deploying ML solutions to real-world problems (not just experiments)
• Programming in Python and SQL; strong knowledge of Numpy, Pandas, Scipy, Scikit-learn, and DL frameworks (Py
• Torch or Tensor
• Flow)
• Experience with Git, SQL, NoSQL, and Spark (Py
