Key Responsibilities * Design, develop and maintain high-quality software solutions. * Write clean, scalable and maintainable code. * Select and advocate for the right technology based on business and technical requirements. * Work with cloud, data and containerisation technologies. * Contribute to technical discussions and continuously improve development practices. * Experiment with new approaches and technologies to improve efficiency and delivery. * Collaborate closely with colleagues across engineering and technical teams. * Troubleshoot technical issues and identify effective solutions. * Share technical knowledge and best practices with colleagues.
About You You’ll ideally have a degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering or equivalent knowledge gained through professional experience.
Essential Technical Requirements * Python Development: 4–10 years of strong, hands‑on professional Python development experience.
Python must be the candidate’s primary programming language. * Python Frameworks: Strong hands‑on experience developing applications using Python-based frameworks.
Any Python framework is acceptable. * REST API: Strong experience developing, integrating, and working with REST APIs. * SQL: Strong SQL knowledge with hands‑on experience writing and working with SQL queries and relational databases. * Software Engineering: Strong hands‑on coding and software development experience, with the ability to write clean, scalable and maintainable code. * Coding Assessment: Candidates will be required to complete a HackerRank coding assessment to demonstrate their practical Python, SQL and problem-solving abilities. #J-18808-Ljbffr
