Overview

In this role you will safeguard software used on a global telecommunications project based in Valencia, applying your expertise to secure modern architectures. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to remediate vulnerabilities and influence secure software delivery. You will perform SAST, DAST, code reviews, and penetration testing to identify and mitigate risks. You will leverage Java, C++, or C# skills to strengthen application security across the stack. Responsabilidades

• Evaluate business requirements and review software architecture
• Perform source code reviews and static/dynamic security testing
• Review and conduct penetration testing on software
• Collaborate with development teams to remediate security vulnerabilities in code
• Bring expertise in code review and modern application architecture (Java, C++, C#)

Requisitos principales

• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, IT, mathematics, or related field
• At least 3 years of experience in application security
• Experience in code review and penetration testing
• Strong knowledge of information security principles and data protection
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
