Eaton's ES EMEA SERV division is currently seeking a EMEA Digital Technical Project Manager.

What you'll do:

  • The Digital Technical Project Manager (DTPM) is responsible for leading the successful delivery of large‑scale digital infrastructure projects for strategic customers across the EMEA region. These projects are primarily focused on data centre fit‑outs and critical power environments but may also include complex SCADA, EPMS, and DCIM solutions requiring on‑site implementation and coordination.
  • As a key member of Eaton's Systems Integrated Projects team, the DTPM manages projects from purchase order through final completion, ensuring delivery excellence, customer satisfaction, and technical compliance. The role combines project management, technical expertise, and stakeholder engagement, requiring close collaboration with customers, contractors, engineering teams, and service organisations throughout the project life‑cycle.
  • Eaton's digital projects span the full power distribution ecosystem, including medium‑ and low‑voltage systems, transformers, generators, ATS, UPS, SCADA, EPMS, and DCIM platforms. Therefore, a strong electrical background, combined with experience in automation and digital monitoring systems, is highly valued.
  • This position is ideal for a proactive, self‑driven professional who thrives in dynamic environments, communicates effectively with diverse stakeholders, and is passionate about delivering innovative solutions for mission‑critical infrastructure. In addition to project ownership, the DTPM serves as a technical leader and trusted advisor, providing expertise and customer‑focused guidance across the wider organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead project execution from purchase order through project completion, ensuring compliance with EHS, schedule, quality, and cost commitments. Drive change orders in collaboration with engineering, supply chain, and site teams, while managing project financials, including revenue recognition, cash flow, risks and opportunities, and profit margins.
  • Manage customer contracts and technical specifications, ensuring alignment between contractual requirements and engineering deliverables.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between Eaton and its customers throughout the project life‑cycle, maintaining strong customer relationships and working closely with Program Managers and regional Sales teams to ensure alignment.
  • Identify, maintain, and actively manage project risks through a comprehensive risk register, implementing mitigation plans to minimise potential issues.
  • Lead collaboration with Eaton's internal engineering teams to define project deliverables according to technical specifications and customer requirements.
  • Identify supplier requirements and coordinate with the supply chain organisation on supplier qualification activities to ensure quality, competitiveness, and project success.
  • Oversee and support field operations activities related to EHS, scope, schedule, and quality. The Site Manager/Site Coordinator functionally reports to the DTPM throughout project execution.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve project execution processes, sharing lessons learned and driving initiatives based on site experience, project performance, and customer feedback.
  • Support site assignments for short periods when required, depending on project execution needs and critical milestones.
  • Conduct site visits as required throughout project execution (approximately 25% travel), while working from a local office or home base and travelling as needed during implementation phases.
  • Travel to customers and project locations across the EMEA region as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical, Electronic, Automation, or Telecommunications Engineering (or a related field) from an accredited university is highly desirable.
  • Master in Project Management or PMP certification is a plus.
  • 5–10+ years of experience in customer‑facing project and site management roles. Proven hands‑on experience delivering projects within data centre environments, including on‑site coor
