Objective of the contract: Carrying out research tasks and research training aimed at the preparation of a doctoral thesis within the framework of the project "Desmontando sesgos con humor: testimoniales humorísticos en redes sociales como intervenciones mediáticas positivas para reducir el prejuicio entre la juventud" (Laughing Out Bias: Humorous Testimonials on Social Media as Positive Media Interventions to Reduce Prejudice Among Youth (LOB)) (PID NB-I00).

The activities will include: scientific literature review, collaboration in the design and pre-testing of audiovisual stimuli, research tasks linked to audiovisual production to design and develop the audiovisual pieces to be used in the experiments, programming and conducting online experiments with Qualtrics, data management and statistical analysis, and preparation and dissemination of scientific results.

The final outcome of the contract will be the preparation of a doctoral thesis on the project's theme, linked to its objectives and to the research carried out within its framework.

The Fellowship will have a maximum duration of four years.

Requirements

Research Field Sociology Education Level Master Degree or equivalent

Specific Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Audiovisual Communication, or Bachelor's Degree in Communication and Audiovisual Creation, or Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, or Bachelor's Degree in Advertising and Public Relations, or Bachelor's Degree in Psychology; and a Master's Degree in Research in Audiovisual Communication, or a Master's Degree in Research in Psychology or Social Psychology.
