Contract Expert

Overview

As a Contract Expert, you act as the neutral guardian of contractual terms within Airbus Helicopters. You will operate in a new Center of Excellence, protecting profitability and embedding a strong contract culture across units. You will interpret T&Cs, manage strategic claims, and advise on risk-mitigating strategies while staying connected to operations. This role offers the chance to influence margins, prevent value leakage, and shape governance in a high-stakes aerospace environment. Responsabilidades

• Provide authoritative guidance on contract clauses and liabilities to plateau teams
• Develop and implement contractual strategy to mitigate breaches and manage exposure
• Manage end-to-end process for contractual breaches and dispute resolution
• Draft and secure contractual communications within tight timelines
• Advise on negotiation strategies to mitigate supplier failures and draft complex T&Cs
• Document lifecycle changes and optimize data capture using CLM tools
• Deliver training modules to operational teams to improve risk prevention and contract culture
• Act as the internal neutral counter-power to enforce contract adherence
• Identify and recover margin, aiming for improvement on strategic contracts
• Oversee transversal T&Cs stewardship across AH, AHD, and AHE

Requisitos principales

• Expertise in complex contract drafting and aerospace/defense T&Cs
• Understanding of contractual impact on margin and financial performance
• Operational independence and integrity to act as a neutral counter-power
• Strong collaboration and ability to influence within matrix organizations
• Proficiency with continuous improvement methodologies (LBIP+) and CLM tools
• Fluent English; knowledge of French, German, or Spanish is advantageous
